With over 25 years experience in the field of plant production evolves Confimaplant currently reaching a leading position in the sector, with a modern infrastructure and facilities and competitive.
Our production is optimal, combining the expertise and dedication of our highly qualified team with the most advanced and modern techniques.
Facilities
In Confimaplant currently have 53,000 square meters of greenhouses multitunnel located in the towns of El Ejido and Níjar.
In El Ejido have a total of 45,000 square meters, 40,000 of multitunnel and 5000 germination chambers and craft work, and Níjar a total of 14000 square meters, multitunnel 8000, 5000 and 1000 ecological multitunnel warehouse and office .
Our area of greenhouses is equipped with dual air chamber, computerized climate control, automatic train irrigation, heating and ventilation. In turn have their zenithal windows opening regulating function of temperature and degree of humidity required.
Production and certifications
We have an annual output of 30 million plants and we have the certification of the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR)
Our main customers are focused on Almería, auque our services are also defendants in the provinces of Murcia, Granada and Malaga.
Heating:
We have an important heating zone area for grafted watermelon and tomato crops. The system is realized through a closed circuit of hot water flowing through a pipe, so that the entire surface is thermally conditioned. For the areas in which they need a lower heat input used hot air guns that get the right temperature needed by the seedling.
Cooling:
The seed has shrouds and central openings which reduce the heat inside the greenhouse. In turn, has sprinklers that reduce the temperature during the summer months. Through a water diffusers, trains drop irrigation water over the corridors of gases, which is achieved by a reduction in the thermal sensation.
Further facilities with fans which create a current of air over the surface of the enclosure. This increases the number of air changes and achieving higher climate homogeneity.
Irrigation:
Irrigation tasks are performed by automated moving trains fertigation include sensors which indicate the amount of water and the time when the plant demand moisture. Thus, the water flows through a rail, and water deposes back again, achieving optimum and uniform distribution of water.
